Does Tuhund ERP automatically save internal chat conversations between employees?
I want to know if Tuhund ERP automatically saves internal chat conversations between employees and where can we see these conversations in future. Is there a search option to search for conversation regarding certain topic? Just like all email conversations and SMS regarding inquiry are attached to the same inquiry, can chat conversations also be attached? This will be a very good function in ERP if it is possible.
Tuhund ERP does give users option to save chat transcripts. These saved chat transcripts are available to the user, who has saved the transcript, through email inbox. In email inbox there is a button on top right corner to view chat transcripts. These transcripts have search option and can be exported to PDF as well. Weather chat transcripts are to be made visible to high level users with appropriate security rights or not can be enabled or disabled through admin module. You can attach chat transcripts to any type of record like inquiry, quotation, proforma invoice, invoice, sales order, RFP, RFQ, purchase order, service request, installation, warranty, project, lead, customer or anything for that matter. However, this will appear in documents section for the record and not in communication section.
Saving internal chat conversations automatically will result in large number of unwanted and redundant records that it will make the whole process meaningless. Therefore, all chats are not saved automatically, but user will have to click save button during the conversation is on or before exit.
