I am trying to add requirements for a project. The system gives me this message "No Project Requirement templates defined for this type of project."
Project Requirement Templates can be configured from:
Tuhund → Projects → Administration → Project Requirement Templates
Open the section and click on “New Template” to create a new requirement template.
The applicability of requirement templates is controlled at Project Type level. The system permits assigning multiple requirement templates for the same project type, which may be required in exceptional cases. However, under normal circumstances and in most industries, a single project type usually requires only one requirement template. Once the applicability is configured, the system automatically displays only the selected templates for projects belonging to that project type.
Users can add any number of requirement items under each template. For every requirement item, the type of data and field validations can be predefined in advance. This helps standardize requirement collection and ensures proper validation during project execution.
Please note that Project Requirements are not Project Tasks or Milestones. Requirements are used to capture, validate and manage the information, documents, specifications, approvals or checkpoints required for a project. Most project management software focuses only on tasks and milestones and does not provide a structured Requirement Management concept.
