Inside Tax Invoice Register Report, there is a button, "Sharing Report," which takes to another report "Tax Invoice Register :: Sharing Report." What is that report? Both reports look the same. They have the same data and the same filters. Even exported excel files look the same.
Tax Invoice Register shows the breakdown of all tax invoices selected for the selected period matching the filters chosen. The number of records is equal to the number of items in all matching commercial invoices. Items include products, services, and miscellaneous items.
Tax Invoice Register : Sharing report further drills down into Tax Invoice Register splitting items that have contribution from more than one branches and / or salesmen.
Suppose an invoice has only one item (product or service) it will show one row in Tax Invoice Register. Suppose the sale was closed by three salesmen, one salesman contributed 50% and the other salesmen contributed 25% each. Suppose the sale value was USD 1000. In Tax Invoice Register : Sharing Report there will be three rows for this invoice. The first row will show the first salesman, quantity 1, and amount USD 500. The other two rows will show the other two salesmen, quantity 1 and amount USD 250 in each row.
Both these reports are loaded with multiple filters and have excel export option.
Please check "About Report" button on top right corner of the page. The "About Report" button is available in all such reports where there can be ambiguity.
